Description / Nature of the product:
Acqueous dispersion of a polymer based on polyurethane modified, ca.50%
Spray gun, roller machine.
Adhesive for sole bonding, ideal for almost all types of materials used for soles and uppers. Bonding of leather, textile, artificial leather (PU and PVC based) and other plastic materials. Storage of plastic and textile coatings for later assembling by heat activation.
Instructions for use:
It is necessary to use the halogenation process for rubber and TPR soles and also follow the information for the pretreatment of soles and uppers. The attaching to the upper is done by heat reactivation as usual. Heat reactivation process: After the applied adhesive is dried (the film must be transparent) the adhesive films must be heated up to 70°C, and then the sole and upper are coupled and immediately pressed. For successful cross linking, it is necessary for both adhesive films on upper and sole to reach 70°C.
One component adhesive that contains capsulated cross linker (Isocyanate). The activation of cross linker starts at 70°C.
When highest heat resistance is requested, it is possible to add Hardener. When used as a pre-coat for soles, textiles or plastic materials, the recommended storage time is up to 15 days without losing tack strength after heat reactivation. In that case, the soles are pre-coated and fully dried (storage up to 3 weeks).
